To someone brought up on Western (GWR) Region engines, there has always been something exotic about Southern Region trains (I think it's the amazing valve gear). Here is one such... wonder the reason for the chalked numbers on the boiler(?)... pulling mixed carriages along Exwick fields heading away from Exeter St. Davids Station towards Dawlish.
