On Sunday 26th of February 6 Harriers went to Axeminster in Devon for the Darwood 3 Hills Challenge which was an 10 mile multi-terrain race.
On race day the weather was on the runner's side with a dry and sunny day with just a light wind. The Harriers had a very good day with 3 prizes in total. First of them went to Shaun Lock who come home 3rd overall (2nd senior man) in a time 1.10.17, Shaun was just 1 minute behind the 2nd place runner. Next was Joe Pascoe in 6th in a time of 1.12.10; Dave Stone was in 7th place in a time of 1.12.55; Paul Champion was in 22nd (1st vet 50) in a time of 1.19.39. In the Ladies race, Dawn Teed was in 70th (1st lady/vet 40) in a 1.36.55, next was Sue Wilkin who was 121st in a time of 1.57.05.
The overall winner of the race was Garry Perratt of Axe Valley Runners in a time of 1.07.20 and there were 145 finishers.
